Sunday Sketch Club

Join ‘The Sunday Sketch Club’ on Sundays from 9am to 11am at The Ravi Paranjape Studio’s premises in Model Colony, Pune. Meet fellow artists. Learn new techniques, enhance your knowledge or hone your skills! Just bring your sketchbook, pencils and lots of enthusiasm! We will provide the beautiful environment! This is an ongoing activity FREE for all to join regardless of the skill level.

Sketching improves the observation and the sense of proportion. Sketching teaches mindfulness and living in the present moment. It helps you connect with your experiences, connect with your inner self to discover your own expression.

Every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM, The Ravi Paranjape Studio bustles with the creative energy of art enthusiasts practicing figure drawing and sketching. It’s a beautiful sight, with artists of all ages and skill levels immersed in their sketchbooks, while pleasant music plays in the background, complementing the light Sunday atmosphere.

This peer-supported group is led by the dedicated artist Vinayak Chhatre. The weekly Sunday Sketch Club is a reflection of Vinayak’s commitment to organizing these sessions, as well as the passion shared by him and his fellow artists.

Occasionally, Vinayak hand picks extraordinary books from Raviji’s personal collection for everyone to study from and enjoy.

The Sunday Sketch Club brings together beginners and experienced sketchers alike in a supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment.

Whether you’re just starting out, looking for a relaxing activity, or looking to refine your technique, the Sunday Sketch Club warmly welcomes everyone to join the artistic journey.

The artist duo, Chaitanya Kubal and Vinayak Chhatre, also conduct instructive classes at the Ravi Paranjape Studio for both kids and adults seeking to pursue art education or simply develop art as a hobby.
